We are a fun-loving group of ukulele enthusiasts who like to play and sing a wide variety of happy songs. We set aside a portion of each session to helping beginners learn to play their ukulele. We encourage residents who play other instruments to come and accompany us. Singers without instruments are also welcome. Presently, we practice at the clubhouse every Monday afternoon. The practice of Tai Chi is known for enhancing concentration and improving balance and muscular strength in a new way. It also has a calming effect on the nervous system. Tai Chi can be thought of as an internal martial art and is also known as "meditation in motion". The Yang 24-form that you will learn is the same Tai Chi that you may have seen practiced in public parks. We practice individual moves and short blocks of movements in sequence. Everyone is welcome to join in this user-friendly class format.

Our group will meet every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month and prepare for the upcoming challenge, tentatively scheduled on September 8th or 15th. We will start with easier hikes (green level) and work our way up to harder hikes, increasing our distance and level of difficulty. Remember to bring appropriate hiking shoes and gear, such as walking poles, proper clothing, and most importantly, water to stay hydrated. RMG is prepping for rehearsing for the spring 23 gig!. We’ll develop a set list and fine tune them for a to be announced performance date. We are community based so all vocalists and musicians in the community are welcome.
Rehearsals begin Wednesday, February 1, from 2 - 4 pm in the main room of the club house. What would you like to sing or play that we all could support and present? You do have to be able to count to 4, and sort of sing in tune, so you can see we have high standards. We know you have always wanted to be in a band!

We meet weekly early Thursday afternoons playing a variety of games that we generally switch between every 3 months or so including tile games (Mexican Train), cards games and board games (like Sequence). All games are easy to learn games of strategy and do not require partners. Registration is required (so we can plan for what we play based on number of registrants). Please REGISTER BY PRIOR EVENING.
